Welcome to the 13th Over The Fence. If you're a return visitor, welcome back! If you're an OTF newbie...boy are you in for a ride! This year's festival is an absolute corker...full to the brim of funny stuff. Yippee!
It features a wide variety of filmmaking – animation, claymation, mockumentary and live action - and comedic genres – slapstick, irreverence, absurdity and drama to name a few. These films will leave you gasping between laughs, smiling with joy, touched by something indefinable and filled by an experience you absolutely do not want to miss. This year’s program is, as per usual, bold and funny and exciting and totally cool.
OTF aims to celebrate new and independent filmmakers, their comic masterpieces and their excellent sense of humour. We are committed to encouraging and stimulating comedy film production in Australia. We remain dedicated to producing a festival celebrating the genre of comedy. We hope to always entertain and inspire.
OTF is, and always will be, a grassroots festival, dedicated to championing the indie filmmakers who are the starting point of a flourishing filmmaking industry. We are steadfast in our provision of a forum for the exhibition of new films and the creation of a vibrant, stimulating, inspiring environment for filmmakers and audiences. And we are determined to bring laughter and joy to people.
